Ogden - Remodeling Case Studies
These homeowners were looking to remodel their outdated and cramped kitchen. More storage was a must, and we achieved this by moving the cooktop to the island the the microwave into a wall cabinet, opening up more cabinet space. The previous cabinets were an outdated yellow maple that the clients were anxious to update, and the new shaker style white cabinets achieve the modern look they were hoping for. The existing tile in the kitchen was something the couple was also tired of - they didn’t love cleaning the grout and wanted something more seamless. A beautiful LVP product in a neutral gray tone now covers the floor, and the homeowners love the durability and look of this new flooring. The clients also had an expensive wine fridge that they wanted to incorporate into the design somewhere. After the designer realized how important this was to them, he dedicated an entire wine area in the design of the kitchen. This area was quite tricky to make happen as it had to be carefully thought out, and the upper section ended up being five individual cabinets all creatively pieced together. This is now the couple’s favorite part of the space! Another request was to replace the island - the awkward shape of the previous island made for poor flow through the kitchen and a disjointed workspace. By replacing this with a rectangular island it not only improved the flow, but allowed for a larger island and a more usable work surface. They also decided to top all of these new workspaces with a more durable quartz product that really make the kitchen pop. Another eye-catching design element is the stunning blue arabesque tile backsplash that is a beautiful contrast to the white cabinets. This kitchen update has the homeowners thrilled and loving every part of their modern, stylish, and stunning space!
