Project Summary
A recent project in downtown Wilmington was a great example of how a small bathroom can feel much more spacious and open with a few modifications. We removed the cramped fiberglass insert shower (repairing the leaking plumbing and the rotted subfloor under the old linoleum in the process!) and installed a larger, low-threshold tile shower with a knee wall on the window side for more light. Adding a frameless glass shower door, new contemporary LED lighting, a (slightly) larger vanity with a nice granite top, and a comfort-height toilet, and the bathroom was transformed! The client was very pleased with the result!
