The kitchen functioned well before, but it needed a new look. We refaced the kitchen cabinets for this rustic renewal. We also took out the island and replaced it with a farmhouse table, which made the kitchen feel a little more open and completed the look the client wanted.
The clients had recently installed new solid surface countertops, but they wanted to get rid of the dated look of the cabinets. They hated the light over the island. They wanted to keep the layout of the kitchen but modify the cabinets to accommodate a new oven while replacing the range hood with an over-the-range microhood. They also wanted a farmhouse table to replace the island.
