These homeowners were looking to remodel their kitchen into something bright, clean, and better functioning. Originally, they were wanting to open up the kitchen into the family room, but decided not to because of a load bearing wall. Despite this change in plans, the new kitchen creates a more open feel just due to the design choices. We pulled down the old dark cabinets and replaced them with new, bright cabinets that go all the way to the ceiling for increased storage. Other features include a new granite countertop and subway tile backsplash that produces an elegant and sophisticated feel to this kitchen. The old fluorescent lights were replaced with bright can lights, and a new vent hood was installed and vented out the roof. Appliances and flooring were also replaced, adding to the final product that all comes together for an updated and modern new kitchen!
