Meeting With Our Team
Your consultation with the DreamMaker team begins with the initial meeting at our design center or by webinar. Expect our team to ask about your lifestyle, goals and style preferences. During this meeting, feel free to show sketches or photos similar to how you want your space to look. It will help us better understand what you want to achieve in your project. We will then schedule your home survey and design review meeting.
Home Survey
Your DreamMaker designer will visit your home and perform a survey. They will take measurements and photos of the area you wish to remodel. Expect them to look for plumbing, structural and electrical issues that require fixing before the construction begins. With a better understanding of your space, they can give you more accurate kitchen or bathroom cost estimates. After the home survey, your designer will set another meeting to present a written proposal.
Written Proposal
At this stage, we will present you with designs we have crafted with your needs and goals in mind. Together, we will decide on a final design that involves all aspects of your remodel. Expect to get various proposal options to go with the design to give you a clearer picture of how much your project costs.
Contract Signing and Finalizing Plans
Our team will provide a detailed contract outlining what to expect during your remodel. It will indicate when your project will start and the projected completion date. Your contract will also include sketches and essential documents. After finalizing the plans and signing the documents, your project manager will schedule a pre-start conference meeting to discuss your project’s timeline.
