Remodeling Carpenter

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

1. Do demolition and installation of product picked by client
2. Reviewing production procedures before the project starts
3. Ordering construction materials
4. Reviewing and initialing the Material Staging Checklist from EMT2 before transporting materials to the jobsite
5. Attending pre-construction meetings
6. Attending weekly production meetings
7. Monitoring to ensure the degree of quality and timeliness of trade partner work
8. Setting up jobs for dust protection
9. Completing and submitting daily logs such as time cards or purchases
10. Communicating progress of job to homeowners and production manager
11. Transporting materials to the jobsite
12. Reviewing the scope of work/specifications with homeowners

Education and Experience

Minimum: High School degree

Or equivalent work experience, several years in construction field

Minimum of five years of construction experience
Experience at working with trade partners (plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, countertops, drywall tile and flooring)
Experience managing other workers
Understanding of construction basics
Basic computer skills in MS Office applications
