Knowing How You Will Use the Space Helps Designers Improve Functionality
- Who will use it? Is it a master bath for you alone, you and your mate, or should it accommodate the whole family? Is it a space for guests or children? Will someone with limited mobility use it now or in the future?
- Is individual space needed? Do you require one sink or two? Should dual sinks be completely separate or side-by-side? Are two medicine cabinets better than one
- What amount of counter space is ideal? If you require additional counter space, will the current bathroom footprint allow it or do you need to find additional space?
- Shower, bath or both? Do you want an enlarged shower with spa-like options? Will you sacrifice your tub for a larger shower or can your space fit both a shower and tub? Would a tub/shower combo make the most sense or will a tub inhibit mobility?

The clients live in a wonderful neighborhood, with close access to dining and entertainment, and a wonderful floor plan of their home that they were not ready to give up. However, the bathroom was in desperate need of modernization! This is where our team came in! We worked hard to create a calming, relaxing bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, ample cabinetry, and a luxurious soaking tub.

Project Summary Functional, updated, and free-flowing can all be used to describe this newly remodeled kitchen! These clients were new to the area and knew exactly what they wanted. They had just painted their whole home, and it was very important that our design team create a new kitchen that matches and compliments the freshly painted walls in the space. Before remodel, this kitchen had awkward turns and corners, it was not functional, and was outdated for the neighborhood. Creating a space that flowed more freely, with more walking room, and improved functionality was top priority in this kitchen remodel. Our clients were seeking an updated, refreshed space, that just made more sense. By moving some appliances, removing a peninsula, complimenting the wall colors with both stained and painted cabinets, and adding storage, we were able to meet all of our client’s needs.
