Jerry

Jerry says it’s the leadership that makes going to work every day so great. When he’s not crafting the perfect room for your house, you can find him on the golf course, camping, or spending time with his grandkids.

Kyle

Kyle loves spending time with his family, which is perfect because he gets to work with his dad, Field Supervisor Gerry, quite a bit. When he’s not working or spending time with his family, you can find him catching up on football, or tubing down the river.

Matt

Matt is one of our lead carpenters and he loves to see your vision come to life. He is kind, courteous, and compassionate while working in your home. When he’s not working he likes to golf, fish, and work on his truck.

Phil

Phil is that quintessential “Jack of All Trades.” His varied experience in printing, auto body work, farming, and construction makes him the guy we go to with our weird questions. Phil also teaches at the local community college, is a scratch bowler, and likes to work on his Fords.

Courtney

Debra

Her nature-loving family enjoys playing outdoors. They are guardians to a dog, a cat, a horse, and to countless wild creatures that visit their home in the woods. Debra finds additional fulfillment in her roles as a Stephen Minister at First Presbyterian in Saline, and as a volunteer with Free Mom Hugs. She also enjoys reading and writing when time allows.

Taylor B

Taylor has over 9 years of experience in the construction industry. When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time his wife and two children. He also enjoys hiking, camping, golfing, fishing – anything outdoorsy! He has also played competitive hockey his whole life!

Dom

As a former wrestler at Olivet College, Dom says he is very goal-driven and tries to do his best at everything. After work, he likes to watch various sports, including football and basketball, and likes to kayak and play cornhole. He also spends time with his girlfriend, their daughter, and his two dogs, Koda and Dutches. “What appealed to me about DreamMaker was the ability to create custom projects for clients. I also like that they are family-oriented and very welcoming to new employees.”

Damon

Damon was attracted to DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen for the opportunity to learn and work with a skilled crew. He has a two-year old son, three sisters, three dogs, and a cat. Damon really enjoys being outside, playing sports and going to the park with his son and dogs. He says he has the best reaction time, which sets him apart from others.

Heather

Heather is married and has three grown sons, a daughter-in-law, and a grandson. When she’s not at work, she love spending time with her family. She loves to try new foods, recipes from different cultures, quiet evenings at home, but also loves her big, loud, crazy family get togethers.

Westin

Westin was attracted to DreamMaker for our Code of Values and our strong focus on service. When he’s not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter. He also enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and camping. He is also a self proclaimed “Pastry Addict”.

Travis

Travis has over a decade of experience, continuously improving his knowledge of the kitchen and bath remodeling industry. In his spare time, he likes to bowl, go fishing, and golfing.

MaryKathryn

MaryKathryn graduated from Purdue University, channeling her passion for creativity into her love for design. Drawn to DreamMaker for its people-first ethos, she found a perfect outlet for her skills and values. She calls Michigan home after moving from the Southwest, embracing the beauty and community of the Midwest.

When she’s not immersed in her work, MaryKathryn cherishes moments spent with her partner, two beloved dogs, and the great outdoors. If not exploring nature’s wonders, you’ll likely find her deep in a yoga session or lost in a good book.

With a blend of technical expertise and artistic flair, MaryKathryn brings a unique perspective to every project, ensuring both functionality and aesthetics are seamlessly integrated. Her commitment to excellence and love for her craft shine through in every endeavor.

Rob

Rob retired from the Washtenaw County Sheriff’s Office after a 30-year career, in which he served in various roles. During that time, he also developed an interest in home improvement projects, and enjoyed doing renovation work for family and friends.  Rob joined DreamMaker’s staff because of the team atmosphere. When he’s not working, Rob likes to spend time with his family and friends, and chips away at his ‘Honey-Do’ list.

Alissa

Lee

Lee helped found DreamMaker Ann Arbor in 2004. Since then he has been directly involved in nearly every aspect of the business. Lee works to create a place where his employees thrive as they improve the lives and homes of DreamMaker clients. He is proud that it has grown over the years into a company that truly lives up to its mission: creating great environments for great people; both employees and customers. When he is not working, Lee enjoys mission work, traveling with his wife and family, fishing, and all things aviation-related! He has been a private pilot since the age of 17 and enjoys flying his plane when the weather is nice (a rarity in Michigan). The rest of the year, you can find him in the shop driving rivets on the plane he is building.

Brenda

With over 25 years of accounting experience, her attention to detail, her cost-consciousness, and high level of integrity, Brenda is the right fit for DreamMaker’s accounting and human resources roles. She enjoys providing timely and relevant analysis and working with the team to grow the company. She has been happily married for almost 30 years and has two children in college. They live in a divided house because one attends Michigan State University, and one attends the University of Michigan. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, traveling, and mission work.

Mike

After two decades of service in law enforcement, Mike retired from his first career as a Police Captain, having held a wide variety of roles within the agency. A graduate of Eastern Michigan University, Mike earned both a Master’s degree and a certificate from the Executive Leadership Program. Mike was drawn to DreamMaker for their team-oriented approach, commitment to community engagement, and relentless pursuit of excellence in all aspects of the company. Mike enjoys fishing, both offshore and inshore, bowhunting, traveling, and golfing. During the winter, Mike can be found at the ice rink with his son’s hockey team, while summers are spent at the lake alongside his wife and boys.

Marsha

Marsha graduated from South Lyon High School and studied interior design at Eastern Michigan University. While attending school, Marsha snagged a job specializing in residential bathroom design. By graduation, she was designing kitchens as well. Over the years in the industry, Marsha has worn many hats from production manager, accounting, design, and marketing. Marsha has a passion for developing new markets with a unique background in design and production. When she’s not working on the business, she can be found at her children’s sporting events or practicing yoga.

Tiffany

Tiffany grew up in a small town with a passion for home design and love for city life. She loves to think outside the box, creating beautiful spaces that can be enjoyed for years to come. When Tiffany is not designing, she can be found spending time with her sons or with her family up north, enjoying the great outdoors.

Macy

Macy grew up in a small town on a farm. Outside of work, she enjoys working out, DIY projects like rehabbing old furniture, spending time with her husband, her son, and playing with their two dogs. She also says that “the atmosphere, location, and opportunity of DreamMaker all appealed to me.”

Shannon

Shannon attended Central Michigan University and has always had a passion for design and functionality. Outside of work, she loves to travel, and obsess over her two cats. She and her husband love the Detroit Tigers and attend games frequently during the season.

Tammy

Tammy has been in the design industry for 17 years. She enjoys being “the fun aunt” in her large extended family. She likes to attend live music events or doing outdoor activities when she’s not at work — snowboarding, kayaking, or hiking. Tammy says she also loves to laugh, so she encourages everyone to share their jokes. She says, “What I like about DreamMaker is that it’s a team filled with great people, and I’m in a role that will grow my career.”

Jessica

Jessica is a graduate of Bowling Green State University, where she majored in Interior Design. With a passion for her field, she has been actively engaged in the industry since 2020. Jessica is excited about the opportunity to collaborate closely with clients, guiding them through every stage of a project—from the initial design phase, through construction, and even post-construction warranty support. Her dedication to providing comprehensive service ensures that clients receive personalized attention and achieve their vision for their spaces.

Jessica enjoys exploring new coffee shops and supporting local restaurants. She also enjoys reading, working out, organizing anything she can, and spending time with her friends and family. She has 3 siblings, 11 nieces and nephews and a cat named Millie. Jessica also is a professional make-up artist for weddings.

Derek

I grew up working for a number of my father’s many small businesses. As the ‘owners kid’ you develop a fondness for small, tight-knit operations where you know everyone involved; the kind of operations where everyone has a stake and is strongly motivated to do the absolute best job possible because your business depends on it. Between the close, capable and highly motivated team and a clearly-defined, value-centered process constantly tuned for improvement, DreamMaker had an immediate appeal.

As a family, we routinely travel together. My parents live on a lake and family watersports (skiing, surfing, wakeboarding, tubing., etc, etc) are basically our entire summer. Last year, we started a wonderful ‘Sunday family dinner’ tradition and I suspect we will not be doing away-with it anytime soon.

My wife and I both work in design fields and we love our creative side projects. She is an avid painter and I love building and fabricating projects of all sizes. I enjoy working with many materials but I particularly enjoy working with wood.

In a family full of dentists; I had every intention of following suit. I started at the University of Michigan for pre-dentistry and worked for a number of years in several dental labs fully intent on being a dentist one day. While working in these labs I discovered that I enjoyed the CAD and wax model lab work a great deal more than the dentistry component. At the suggestion of a family friend, also a dentist, I went on a tour for a design school. The tour won me over completely; a week later I enrolled and its been design ever since.

Gerry

Gerry has over 25 years of construction experience and it shows in his quick and thorough craftsmanship. He’s spent more than 10 years at DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen and says it’s the “good people” that makes being a DreamTeam member so great. In his spare time, he enjoys football, family and shooting guns.

Travis

Travis and his wife have three kids and two dogs. He says, “It’s a little chaotic, but it’s a new adventure every day!” In his spare time he likes to ride his motorcycle and learn new things! He was attracted to DreamMaker because of our efficient scheduling process – we schedule jobs from start to finish, and don’t ask carpenters to juggle several projects at once.

Dave

Dave has over 25 years of construction experience and 10 of those have been spent with DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. When Dave isn’t building and putting together the best kitchens and baths, he is golfing and spending time with his family.

Ryan

Ryan is an experienced carpenter with 15 years experience working in the home remodeling field. He’s been with DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen for over 10 years, and says what he loves most about his job is being a part of a company that treats employees like family. In his free time, he’s always working on his own home, playing golf, or watching movies.
