All About This Year’s Franchise of the Year Winner

The DreamMaker brand is built on providing a customer-focused experience, from the bathroom or kitchen quote to project wrap-up. We’re also known for our Code of Values™, which informs how we treat not just our customers, but also our business partners, employees and the people we encounter every day. This year, one franchise was recognized for their exemplary performance and how well they embody what we stand for as a brand.

Congratulations to DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Springfield for winning 2021 Franchise of the Year! Let’s get to know this company.

Humble Beginnings

DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen of Springfield is headed by Curt Trampe, who has been the franchise owner for 15 years. His work in the home improvement space started in 1998, when he was a one-man team doing smaller, handyman-type projects. Gradually, his company saw a significant increase in sales and grew to include 10 employees.

As a team, they were “all things to all people” as far as home improvement went. However, Curt realized that their process had become inefficient and demanding, and decided that the way they did things needed some fine-tuning. In 2006, he decided to officially turn the business into a DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen franchise.

The DreamMaker Difference

One of the biggest things that attracted Curt to the DreamMaker brand was the exclusive focus on kitchen and bathroom remodeling. Narrowing down their specialization helped them increase their skills and boost profits. Curt was also able to draw from the knowledge and experience of other DreamMaker franchise owners to help his team maximize their strengths and avoid business pitfalls.

From the time the franchise started until today, the Springfield team has been on their A-game, from providing accurate kitchen and bathroom cost estimates to designing beautiful, functional spaces for their customers. Curt has found the brand’s business model as well as the Code of Ethics™ to be of real value to him and his team.

Looking Forward

This recent recognition has motivated Curt to take the franchise to even greater heights. In the future, he plans to sell the business to a deserving team who can continue what they started, especially in terms of maintaining the brand’s presence in the local market and ensuring its further growth.
