Kitchen and Bathroom Remodeling

Contemporary Dual Space Renovation

We had the absolute pleasure of renovating both a kitchen and a bathroom in this Tiverton home, transforming dated and closed off spaces into bright, contemporary rooms designed for both beauty and function. The original kitchen had an awkward octagonal island, heavy wood cabinetry, and limited lighting that made the layout feel crowded and dim. To create a bright and open environment suited for everyday cooking and entertaining, we completely reimagined the layout. We introduced a streamlined, prep focused island that creates a natural gathering spot, and we relocated brand new appliances to improve the daily workflow. Sleek white cabinetry replaced the darker finishes, instantly lifting the tone of the room and reflecting the new recessed lighting perfectly. Calacatta Safyra Quartz is the true star of the show, with gorgeous countertops that flow seamlessly into a full slab backsplash. A fresh coat of paint, brushed nickel hardware, and a stainless steel hood complete the finishing touches!

Next, we turned a neglected utility zone into a bright, multifunctional bathroom and laundry suite. What began as an unfinished corner with exposed studs and scattered cleaning supplies is now a beautifully intentional and organized space. We finished the walls in a calming soft white and blue palette and installed a glass enclosed corner shower to maximize the footprint. The shower features white picket wall tiles, white hexagon mosaic floor tiles, and a recessed niche to keep essentials easily within reach. Timeless brushed nickel accents tie the shower fixtures, vanity faucet, and hardware together, while updated tile flooring provides a clean, contemporary feel. Finally, sleek white cabinetry for the vanity and upper laundry units adds perfectly concealed storage to eliminate visual clutter. By completely rethinking the layout, finishes, and flow, we created a dual purpose space that is an absolute pleasure to use.

Bathroom Remodeling

Spa Bathroom Remodel in North Providence

This renovation transformed an outdated space into the spa-worthy bathroom of our clients’ dreams! We replaced the dingy, dated tub with a spacious walk-in shower. Wavy white shower wall tiles create a bright atmosphere with subtle movement, while a pebble-look shower floor provides that spa-like experience! A strip of blue glass accentuates the niches recessed into the wall as polished, built-in storage for all of your self-care products. Recessed ceiling lights illuminate the shower from above, while a new vent fan quietly whisks humidity out of the way. A custom built-in bench allows you to relax with ease, and a matching set of brand-new fixtures features a luxurious handshower wand! Sliding glass doors enable us to appreciate the stunning tile work, while improving functionality and ease of cleaning. Large-format floor tiles minimize grout and create a seamless, spacious effect in the whole room. We replaced an old pedestal sink with a warm, honey-toned wood vanity that maximizes storage and includes a pull-out organizer for hair tools and products. A sleek quartzite countertop highlights the one-of-a-kind beauty of natural stone. Where the old, cramped shower used to be, there’s now a custom closet with built-in drawers and pull-out shelves to organize everything you need out of sight. We finished everything off with fresh coats of light blue paint and white trim to coordinate with the cohesive color scheme throughout. Our clients couldn’t be happier with their new bathroom!

Luxury Bathroom in East Greenwich

From basic to exceptional! This East Greenwich bathroom is the perfect example of how to make monochrome magnificent; the key is contrast.Project StoryThe original shower had a great footprint, but it was confined by walls on all sides that made it feel small, and it had plain tiles that did nothing to elevate the space. We opened the shower up with a half wall and custom glass so it can be appreciated from all angles. We created a custom built-in bench against the half wall, complete with a heating feature that takes it to the next level of elegance! The recessed niche above the bench accentuates the new layout we created. The show-stopping element is the gorgeous tilework, featuring luxe gray and white polished porcelain stone-look tiles that’ll make you believe it’s the real thing, without the maintenance. The shower wall tile is a large-format 24″x48″ size to visually enlarge the space and minimize grout. The coordinating shower floor tile is an elongated hexagon. The main showerhead, overhead rainshower, and handheld shower wand are all a gleaming polished quartz that pop against the tile for a timeless look with modern edge. This renovation crafts an upscale experience that’ll make you feel like you’re bathing in a luxury spa retreat carved from natural stone, all from the comfort of home! The customizable heated floors ensure that our clients’ feet stay warm when they step out of their luxe shower. Their old vanity was dull, builder-grade white cabinetry with an oversized mirror that felt out of place. We replaced it with a wall-to-wall Showplace vanity in a rich Iron Ore that proved the perfect contrast to the other monochrome tones in the space. Dual framed mirrors create a balanced, high-end look. The countertops and trim work are a sleek white quartz with delicate veining details that shimmer with silvery brilliance when it catches the light. The finishing touches are black-and-chrome hardware with subtle texture, matching accessories, and modern linear chrome lighting fixtures that are both stylish and functional. The result is a high-end master bathroom that showcases the best way to use a monochromatic color palette: the ideal balance of contrasting tones!

Down to the Studs Master Bath Transformation

A complete bathroom renovation down to the studs can be a major undertaking, especially in an older home, but our team focused on creative solutions to make this Providence homeowner’s exact vision come true. To completely maximize the room, we removed the restrictive original layout, which included an outdated tub, a bulky closet, and a cramped shower. This allowed us to build an expansive, custom tile shower that features a white quartz bench, a built in niche, a quartz trimmed window, and sleek glass doors.

We extended the beautiful shower tile outward to create a stunning accent wall behind the new soaking tub, elegantly trimmed with a white marble border and complete with a floor mounted tub filler. For optimal daily function, we installed a massive 72 inch white vanity topped with Viatera Everest quartz, framed perfectly by dual oval mirrors and brand new overhead lighting. Polished mosaic tile flooring, fresh paint, and polished chrome fixtures used throughout the room tie the entire aesthetic together perfectly. By involving the homeowners every single step of the way, we delivered a luxurious and highly responsive design that completely matches their dream retreat.

A Fresh and Functional Home Update

Transforming this Cranston home from dark and dated to fresh and functional was an absolute joy for our design team. The homeowners wanted to completely refresh their living space, so we crafted a beautiful dual room remodel that breathes calm, true character, and charming details into their everyday routine. In the kitchen, we focused on creating a highly inviting atmosphere by replacing the heavy original materials with bright modern finishes, sleek new cabinetry, and gorgeous premium countertops. The new layout perfectly supports daily cooking while offering a welcoming space for family gathering. For the bathroom, our goal was to build a relaxing personal retreat. We updated the entire footprint with elegant plumbing fixtures, crisp tile work, and a stunning vanity that maximizes functional storage. Every single design choice was made to ensure these new spaces look absolutely breathtaking while remaining incredibly practical for modern living.

Soothing Sage & Cream Kitchen in Cranston

These wonderful clients from Cranston had a kitchen with a great footprint, but the layout wasn’t functional for them, and the outdated furnishings made the room feel dark. The half-wall closed off the space, blocked it from their adjacent great room, and restricted their old dining table into a cramped corner, forcing them pull it out when they hosted company. With their goals in mind, we removed the half-wall to make way for a custom dining table featuring ample storage, transitional legs, and a glass cabinet to display their glassware and sentimental decor. We removed the intrusive soffit and installed new cabinetry up to the ceiling to make the room feel taller, replacing the old oak with a soothing neutral palette of sage green and soft cream. In place of the small tiles and thick dark grout, the floor is now spacious and light, and the backsplash showcases a glossy fan pattern that catches the light and provides warm, subtle texture. Now, they’re able to entertain their family and friends in a space that feels welcoming and cohesive!

“I highly recommend Dennis and Christina, owners at DreamMaker Bath and Kitchen of Southern RI. They just completed a complete tear-down and rebuild of our 30-year old Master Bath. We loved the end result! I looked at many different contractors and options before selecting them and I am glad I went with them. They took care of everything from initial concept, detailed design, product selection, pulling building permits, right through to project execution and completion. Dennis is a an experienced tile guy, and knows all the other parts of the job too. His subcontractors (plumbing, electrical, plaster, shower glass) were all top notch and showed up on time and did the job completely before leaving. Both Dennis and Christina are hard-working professionals who obviously take great pride in their work. They are not the cheapest option (they would be the first to tell you that) but paying for quality work from a reputable company is a prudent investment, I believe.”

“This group did an amazing job! DreamMaker helped us complete a full kitchen & bathroom remodel. We decided to do both jobs at the same time to help reduce cost and impact, so needless to say, this was a major job. We could not be happier with the end result! It required taking out a load-bearing wall and installing a beam (hidden in the ceiling) to completely transform our main level to an open floor plan. They added new hardwoods and our bathroom and kitchen were both completely renovated. Our favorite part of the project was the digital images of the design selections that Dennis and Christina provided us with. Also, we wanted to mention that during construction, Dennis’ work crew was courteous, on-time, and 100% professional. From the start of demolition through the final coat of paint, Dennis always kept me up to date on progress and timeline. I HIGHLY recommend DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen for any renovation job (large or small).”

“Dennis and Christina just completed a first floor remodel for me including a slight closing in of my originally open concept design, new larger kitchen island, floor sanding, new cabinets, updated half bath, new trex decking, and more! I also plan to hire them for work needed on my second floor What I loved: 1) end result looks amazing – exactly as I wanted. 2) up front pricing, details and discussion. I spoke with Dennis about my priority items, my lack of knowledge on quality/materials/etc and then we reviewed how I could possibly save money in certain areas or focus on certain parts of the project I wanted to complete. 3) Timing: everything was scheduled in a tight timeframe that was reviewed with me, in advance. The timeline was exactly as described 4) Organized – I did not have to deal with any subcontractors, organizing, etc and I loved that they handled everything! I trusted DreamMaker with my project, and it turned out great! I will be using their services again in the coming months.”

“From the start of the process, my wife and I felt we made a great choice to renovate our kitchen with DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen. Megan, who designed and provided coordination, made great suggestions while listening to our desires for a new kitchen. Once a plan was approved, she accompanied us to select all new products like backsplash, sink, and special doors for ease of access. Once we were introduced to the construction team, we were pleased with their professional approach, building skills, trustworthiness, and friendliness. They always were on time, and on the rare occasion they could not be at our house, we were notified.
In short, they were great to deal with and corrected the very few issues that we identified. Thank you, Dennis, the owner, who was with us every step.”
