Project Story

This gorgeous home improvement project started with a former client’s husband approaching us and expressing his desire to give his wife the kitchen of her dreams. She had an immense love for cooking and also greatly appreciated beautiful design, which is why she was a perfect candidate for an amazing kitchen remodel. When discussing this project with them we knew this kitchen would be unique to their taste, and every detail was thought about, from where the napkins would be stored to the space where her pies would be made. The couple’s biggest concern was storage, as their existing kitchen was lacking in adequate space. A largely unused powder bathroom was just around the corner from their existing kitchen, so we removed it and created a butler’s pantry for the additional food storage for the client’s cooking needs. They also loved the idea of an open concept kitchen, so we removed the wall separating the living room from the kitchen and added a counter with arched details in its place. The new dining area is a made up of a built-in banquette with a butcher block table and two rustic chairs. The final result is absolutely stunning, and is the dream kitchen for this client and her husband. It is open, bright, inviting, warm, timeless, and elegant - truly a beautiful space that the clients love to show off!
