You and the contractors you selected did excellent work for us. I wish to thank and compliment you.
The purpose of the work was to make this house safer and more comfortable for my wife and myself to Age in Place. We prefer not to move into a nursing home. You accomplished this purpose admirably. Other potential clients who have similar goals should know that they can count on you for sound advice.
This house is a semi-detached two-story brick house with a basement and an attic. Built in 1929, the interior walls are lath and plaster. Your people handled the physical environment beautifully. Walls and ceilings had to be demolished so that Thomas E. Clark, Inc., plumbers could remove corroded galvanized steel pipes and install new copper pipes. Afterwards, your contractors replastered and repainted the areas so skillfully that one cannot tell demolition ever happened.
From my perspective, you coordinated the work seamlessly with Thomas E. Clark. I also appreciated your suggestions to have the master bathroom door open outwards to make the bathroom more accessible; position grab bars for maximum safety; and anchor the new stairway handrails to the walls with 45-degree links that will not impede Fire and EMS personnel. When the contractors reinstalled the master bathroom door plumb and level, they gave me a friendly insight into a construction error that dated back to 1929. It was fun interacting with your people.

In 2005, Verl Dyer Co extensively remodeled our DC apartment—new kitchen, bathroom, central AC, wood floors, broken-through walls, new walk-in closet, new lighting, etc., etc. The work was flawless, within budget, and—unheard of—completed, as promised, right on time. Verl is a master craftsman, a man of integrity, and a pleasure to work with. You cannot do better.

Verl and his team did a huge custom renovation project in our historic DC home. They were reasonably priced and fair in every way. The craftsmanship was superb on every level. The whole team was professional, clean, and reliable. They always showed up right on time and as promised. They solved problems creatively and beautifully. And they made my kitchen dreams come true. The end result was stunning. I highly recommend this organization. You will not be disappointed.

I have lost track of how much work this company has done at my home. The projects having included a complete kitchen re-do, plus one complete and two partial bathroom remodeling jobs. That is in addition to window and door replacements, waterproofing of an outdoor deck, and more. Everything has been done by skilled workers who turn in a first-class job. The company stands behind its work, and I've never had to worry about lack of permits or problems with inspections.
