Consider Your Existing Plumbing
Your washer will need to be near an existing source of water for obvious reasons. A drain also needs to be close by for wastewater. Consider Your Space
Front-loading units can be stacked on top of each other in a small bathroom or placed side by side if more space is available. You can place them under counters or create shelving on top for extra storage. One disadvantage, however, is the need for proper ventilation. Should your bathroom space be very limited, a combination washer/dryer may be the solution for you. These machines will wash and then dry your clothes in a single load.
