Step 2: Lubricate Those Hinges

Time to bring in the secret weapon: lubricant! Here are a few options you can use to silence the squeak:

WD-40 – A classic go-to. Spray a little into the hinge, move the door back and forth, and wipe off any excess.
Household Oil (Like 3-in-1 Oil) – Just a few drops on each hinge pin will do the trick.
Petroleum Jelly – If you don’t have oil on hand, rub a little jelly into the hinges for a temporary fix.

Step 3: Work It In
